About us

St Therese's Netball Club (STNC) is an inclusive and diverse netball club for all ages and experience.

We offer girls, boys and mixed teams starting from NetSetGo through to Opens.

Our teams primarily play at the Parkville competition, but we also have a focus on development and pathways, which provides opportunities for players to participate in other competitions.

Our club is built on strong values of teamwork, fair play, competitive spirit and community involvement.

Our coaches and volunteers are dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all players to develop their skills and have fun.

#competitivewithheart 💪🏼❤️

Our Story

Get to Know Us

St Therese's Parish Netball Club was established over 25 years ago, playing in the local church based competition.

Today, St Therese's Netball Club (STNC) runs as an independent netball club and competes in the Parkville Association competition played at the State Netball Centre in Parkville and at Riverside Netball Courts in Ascot Vale.

STNC has an increasing number of  teams playing in the Altona Netball Association competition at the Altona Sports Complex in Altona Meadows, and the Merri Bek Netball Association in Fawkner.

We strive to offer players a comprehensive netball experience, emphasising the cultivation of fundamental netball skills that evolve with increasing experience levels - focused on staying fit and active, nurturing talent, and above all, having fun.

We offer different pathways depending on what the player is looking for including;

  • NetSetGo: Netball Australia's official program for kids aged five to 10

  • Competitive Grades: For those looking to play at their highest level.

  • Men's/Boys: We're one of Victoria's leading male clubs, with pathways from beginners through to State and National teams.

  • Mixed Netball: Playing in the newly created Parkville Netball Association and and Merri Bek Association competitions.

  • Social: For those who just want to play with friends or for fitness.

Our coaches are qualified, and we run a Developing Coach Program, aimed at giving our younger coaches on the job experience.

All of our players and coaches are encouraged to explore the umpiring pathway with many of our members progressing to C and B-badge umpiring qualifications.

No matter where you live or what your skill level, we welcome you to join our club.
